VieVinum. Where Austrian wine meets the world.

Every two years, we look forward to VieVinum; it’s like a reunion for the Austrian wine industry. And we’re all there: all 91 ÖTW member wineries are represented at the fair. That’s no coincidence, but a statement of intent.

For us, VieVinum at the Hofburg in Vienna is the most important wine fair of the year. Winemakers and wine experts from all over the world gather here, with over 500 producers offering an insight into the diversity of the wine market, and Austrian single-vineyard wines play a central role.

35 years of ÖTW. And we’re looking ahead.

ÖTW is celebrating its 35th anniversary and is using this milestone as an opportunity to discuss the next chapter in the story of Austrian wine. How do we shape the future of vineyard classification? What strategies are needed in a changing wine world, both nationally and internationally?

At the press conference held during VieVinum 2026, ÖTW Managing Director Michael Tischler-Zimmermann will provide an insight into current developments and upcoming structural changes within the organisation.

What if...

the highlight of VieVinum 2026 didn’t take place at the tasting table, but over dinner?

The ÖTW invites you to a series of exclusive Winemakers’ Dinners in Vienna. At each dinner, two ÖTW wineries from different regions will meet a small group of six guests at a carefully selected restaurant. An evening of conversation, personal insights and wines that truly come into their own in the right setting.

You choose which dinner suits you best. Places are limited and reserved exclusively for industry professionals.

The day at the fair is drawing to a close, and so are we. But with dignity.

On 17 May, we invite you to join us from 6.30 pm at the Volksgarten Pavilion, just around the corner from VieVinum. The evening is all about tasting, celebrating and dancing.

ÖTW wines will be served, and we’ve got the perfect music sorted. There are no tickets available. The much sought-after wristbands will be handed out exclusively by our member wineries directly at the fair. So: pop by your favourite ÖTW winery and secure your spot for the best way to round off VieVinum.

Important Note

Our party will be held outdoors. The weather forecast is currently predicting rather chilly and windy conditions. Please make sure you bring warm clothing so that you can relax and enjoy the evening.

Refreshments will be provided: hot food will also be available to buy at the venue.
